How to Use the Extension
Direct from the browser
Navigate to the page where you'd like to capture content.
Click the guided. icon in your browser toolbar.
Click "Start Recording" or use the keyboard shortcut (default is CTRL+E).
REMINDER: We recommend keeping to length of your first recording to 3 minutes or less while you are still familiarizing yourself with the content creation process.
Perform the actions you want to capture.
Click the guided. icon again or use the keyboard shortcut to stop recording.
Your recording will automatically open in the guided. web app for editing in another tab.
From the guided. studio web application
Click the 'New Project' button from your guided. studio dashboard
Select the 'Record with Extension' option
Select the open tab from your browser where you would like the recording to begin.
You'll be automatically re-directed to that tab.
Click the guided. icon in your browser's toolbar (if you haven't pinned it to your toolbar, you might need to open the extension menu first).
